Meet Terrapin, our 1994 Toyota Hiace high-top van fresh off the boat from Japan. At the time of purchase, the 3L Diesel engine only had 38k miles on it.
Heat and AC work like a charm, and we fully insulated the interior, so it rides comfy and quiet too.

The interior features warm cedar plank ceilings, a comfy queen bed with 5" foam mattress, and loads of underbed storage for all your gear.
Multiple usb plug-ins keep electronics devices charged up at all times. Set the mood with 6 led lights on a touch dimmer.
Kitchen area is outfitted with a 13"x15" extra deep stainless sink, and comfortable cabinet height kitchen cabinets with plenty of storage. The sink is hooked up to a Sureflo water pump with 3 gallon water supply and grey water tank. The kitchen also features a beautiful Dometic Coolmatic CRX-1080E 78 Liter Refrigerator.
The interior also has a 12 speed Maxx air fan with air intake and outtake for proper ventilation while cooking indoors, and keeping you comfortable and cool at night.
All of this is run on a 200w solar system by Renogy and a 100 amp hour gel battery. As well as a 1500 watt inverter on a 12v system.
